Rahul Gandhi’s Troll Army Fallen to a New Low

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interview to ANI on the very first day of 2019 has taken social media by storm. This interview appeared to have pricked many leaders in the Congress-led opposition and its ecosystem. Though there was a positive reaction to the PM’s interview by common social media users, but there were some people who wrote vicious trolls and crossed all limits of civic discussions to attack PM Modi and Smita Prakash, Editor, News, ANI who interviewed him.

One such uncivilised attack came from Sanjukta Basu (@sanjukta), a so called left liberal feminist who abused Smita Prakash in utter filthy language. She tweeted the following:

Sanjukta’s language (she frequently writes for The Wire) in the tweet reflects that she is so troubled by the PM Modi’s interview with ANI, that she hurled such derogatory abuses at Smita Prakash. Sanjukta apparently feels that Smita Prakash did not ask tough questions to Prime Minister (which is quite contrary to the reality).

Sanjukta has been emboldened by the Congress-led left liberal cabal over the years. Here are some of the instances when Congress and others not only shared her stories but also appreciated her language.

Rahul Gandhi. Congress President

According to a report by Times Now, Sanjukta Basu, among others, was going to meet Rahul Gandhi as part of his social media outreach. Times Now in its report further exposed as to how Rahul Gandhi’s troll army (as Times Now addresses them) uses the filthy language.

Nikhil Wagle, Journalist

Priyanka Chaturvedi, Congress Spokesperson

Arfa Khanum Sherwani, Senior Editor, The Wire

Swati Chaturvedi, The Wire

Sanjukta has been nurtured by the left liberal ecosystem over a long period of time. Her offensive attack on Smita Prakash is in perfect tune with the language used by the Congress eco-system. Ironically, Sanjukta claims to be the champion of women’s rights but when it came to her ideological masters, she did not spare a woman from her filthy abuses.
