Global Goalkeeper Award

September 2019

Gates Foundation has conferred the ‘Global Goalkeeper Award’ on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. A tweet by the organisation read, “This award recognizes the progress India has made in providing safe sanitation under his leadership”.

King Hamad Order of the Renaissance

August 2019

This Bahrain Order – First Class is a top honour by the gulf country.

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa has conferred the award on Indian Prime Minister in recognition of his efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is to be noted that PM Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the island the country located in the Persian Gulf.

Order of the Distinguished Rule of Nishan Izzuddeen

June 2019

This award is the Maldives’ highest honour accorded to foreign dignitaries.

It is to be noted that India has been pursuing ‘Neighborhood First’ policy and PM Modi has been successful in taking bilateral relations with the Maldives to a greater height.

Order of St Andrew the Apostle

April 2019

This award is Russia’s highest state decoration given to prominent statesmen and public figures.

PM Modi was conferred with this award for exceptional services in promoting special and privileged strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and the Republic of India and friendly relations between the Russian and Indian peoples.

Order of Zayed

April 2019

United Arab Emirates made the announcement to confer its highest civilian honour Order of Zayed on PM Modi for his efforts to boost bilateral ties between India and UAE.

“We have historical and comprehensive strategic ties with India, reinforced by the pivotal role of my dear friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who gave these relations a big boost. In appreciation of his efforts, the UAE President grants him the Zayed Medal,” the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohamed bin Al Nahyan tweeted.

Seoul Peace Prize 2018

October 2018

PM Modi was given this award for contributions to the growth of the Indian and global economies.

Credited PM for his contribution towards regional and global peace under the ‘Modi Doctrine’ and the ‘Act East Policy’ and also lauded for his ‘Modinomics’ – undertaking economic reforms in the country.

UNEP Champions of the Earth Award

September 2018

United Nations’ highest environmental honour, bestowed on the world’s greatest change agents.

Prime Minister of India was conferred with this award for his pioneering work in championing the International Solar Alliance and his unprecedented pledge to eliminate all single-use plastic in India by 2022.

Grand Collar of the State of Palestine

February 2018

This is the highest order of Palestine given to foreign dignitaries.

The state of Palestine, in recognition of PM Modi’s wise leadership and his lofty national and international stature, and in appreciation of his efforts to promote the historic relations between the State of Palestine and the Republic of India, conferred this award on him.

April 2016

This is Saudi Arabia’s highest civilian honour.

The Prime Minister was conferred the prestigious award by King Salman bin Abdulaziz at the Royal Court where they held extensive talks on a range of bilateral, regional and international issues, reported Economic Times.
